The FiberXon FTM-3101C-L15-AT is a high-performance Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver designed for Fast Ethernet (100BASE-LX) and SDH/SONET (STM-1/OC-3) applications. Operating at a data rate of 155 Mbps, this module is optimized for medium-reach optical connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF). It utilizes a 1310 nm Fabry-Perot (FP) laser transmitter and a high-sensitivity PIN photodiode receiver, enabling reliable data transmission over distances up to 15 kilometers. This makes it an ideal solution for metropolitan access networks, telecommunications backhaul, and industrial Ethernet applications requiring long-distance signaling at lower bitrates.The transceiver is fully compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and ITU-T G.957 standards, ensuring seamless interoperability with a wide variety of switches, routers, and transport equipment.
