It is engineered for long-reach transmission over Single-Mode Fiber (SMF), utilizing a 1310nm Fabry-Perot (FP) laser transmitter and an integrated PIN photodiode receiver to achieve a maximum link distance of 20 kilometers. The transceiver is compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-LX standards, ensuring broad compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment, including switches, routers, and media converters.
