The RAD UN600024731 (SFP-6DH) is a hot-pluggable SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) optical transceiver module designed for Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fibre Channel applications in RAD Data Communications equipment and compatible platforms. It provides a bidirectional optical interface operating at data rates from 1.0625 Gbit/s to 1.25 Gbit/s.This module operates at a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm using a Fabry-Perot (FP) laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver. It is optimized for single-mode fiber (SMF 9/125 µm) with a typical transmission distance of up to 10 km (some compatible variants support up to 20 km depending on link budget and fiber quality).
