The Teko Telecom TTRU4W-E-M is a fiber optic transmitter/receiver module designed for use in Teko (now part of JMA Wireless) active Distributed Antenna System (DAS) master units. It performs RF-to-optical and optical-to-RF conversion for distributed radio coverage applications in public venues, campuses, tunnels, and large buildings.The module features a 1 Tx + 4 Rx configuration with WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, allowing bidirectional communication over a reduced number of optical fibers. It supports up to 10 dB optical loss budget, enabling flexible placement of remote units at distances suitable for typical DAS deployments. The optical interface uses SC-APC connectors for low-reflection performance and stable long-term operation in single-mode fiber links.

On the RF side, the module includes SMA(f) connectors. The four receiver paths allow independent downlink signal handling from multiple remote units, while the transmitter path distributes the uplink-combined signal. Built-in monitoring ports on the RF receive paths enable live monitoring of each connected remote unit from the master unit without interrupting service. This feature simplifies troubleshooting, power balancing, and performance verification in multi-remote DAS architectures.

The TTRU4W-E-M is engineered for integration into Teko master unit chassis, where it interfaces with the system controller, power supply, and other active DAS components. It supports ultrawideband or multi-band operation depending on the host system configuration, making it suitable for multi-operator or multi-technology environments (2G/3G/4G/LTE).
