The IBM 7870FT2, also known as the BladeCenter HS22, is a high-density, half-wide server blade designed for integration into the IBM BladeCenter chassis environment (including S, E, H, and HT chassis). This server module is engineered to deliver a balance of performance, virtualization density, and energy efficiency for enterprise-grade data centers and telecommunications infrastructures. It supports up to two Intel Xeon 5500 or 5600 series processors, providing multi-core processing power suitable for demanding computational workloads and multi-threaded applications.
