The Huawei CX912 Multi-Plane Switch Module is a high-performance switching module designed to enhance the connectivity and data processing capabilities of compatible Huawei enterprise and data center switching platforms. The module provides a combination of sixteen 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GE) ports and eight 8G Fibre Channel (FC) ports, enabling flexible integration of both Ethernet networking and storage area network (SAN) connectivity within the same infrastructure.The integrated 10GE ports support high-speed Ethernet data transmission, making the module suitable for aggregation layers, data center environments, and high-bandwidth enterprise networks. In addition, the eight 8G Fibre Channel ports provide reliable and low-latency connectivity for storage systems and SAN environments. The module supports Brocade technology for Fibre Channel networking, ensuring compatibility with enterprise storage infrastructures and facilitating efficient storage traffic management.
