The Avago AFBR-703SDDZ-SN1 is a high-performance, short-range (SR) Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (SFP+) optical transceiver designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) applications. This module operates at a nominal wavelength of 850 nm using a high-speed Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) and is optimized for data transmission over multimode fiber (MMF). It supports link distances of up to 300 meters on OM3-grade fiber and up to 400 meters on OM4-grade fiber, providing a reliable and scalable solution for high-bandwidth leaf-spine architectures and top-of-rack switch connectivity in modern data centers.The device is fully compliant with the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBase-SR standard.
