The Avago AFCT-5715APZ-NS1 is a high-performance Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver specifically engineered for Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-LX) and Fibre Channel applications. Operating at a 1310 nm wavelength using a Fabry-Perot (FP) laser, this module is designed for long-reach data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 kilometers. The "-NS1" variant is a specialized revision often pre-configured or certified for seamless integration into Nokia (formerly Nokia Siemens Networks) telecommunications platforms, ensuring full software compatibility and hardware synchronization.The device is fully compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3z standards.
