The FiberXon FTM-3012S-G is a high-performance Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver designed for Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-LX) and 1x Fibre Channel applications. It operates at a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm, utilizing a high-stability Fabry-Perot (FP) laser transmitter and a high-sensitivity PIN photodiode receiver. This module is engineered for data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF), supporting link distances of up to 10 kilometers, making it a reliable choice for campus backbones, metropolitan area networks (MAN), and inter-building connectivity. The transceiver is fully compliant with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3z standards, ensuring broad interoperability with networking equipment such as switches, routers, and media converters from various manufacturers. It features a duplex LC optical interface and operates from a single 3.3V power supply.
