The Alcatel-Lucent 3AL34066AAAB STM-1 Switch is a specialized switching module engineered for low-order cross-connect and traffic grooming of STM-1/OC-3 signals in synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH/SONET) transport platforms. This module provides non-blocking switching fabric for aggregating and distributing multiple 155.52 Mbps client interfaces with granular VC-12/VC-3 level cross-connection capabilities for efficient bandwidth management and service provisioning. The STM-1 Switch card implements time-division switching architecture with support for up to 64 simultaneous STM-1 ports, enabling flexible traffic routing between line interface modules, tributary cards, and service interface boards within the transport shelf.
