The Alcatel-Lucent 3AL80407AAAH04 1650SM-C 1660SM ETH-MB is a multi-service Ethernet interface board engineered for high-speed Ethernet service aggregation and transport in the 1650 Synchronous Multiplexer - Compact (1650SM-C) and 1660 Synchronous Multiplexer (1660SM) platforms for SDH/SONET network architectures. This module provides flexible Ethernet client interface capabilities for aggregating 10/100/1000BASE-T and Gigabit Ethernet services onto synchronous optical network infrastructure in compact and standard form factor deployments. The ETH-MB card supports multiple Ethernet service types including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T/LX/SX interfaces with configurable port assignments, VLAN tagging, and dynamic bandwidth allocation optimized for metro access and aggregation applications. The board implements comprehensive Ethernet over SDH/SONET framing per ITU-T G.707, G.7041 (GFP), and G.7042 (VCAT/LCAS) specifications with support for virtual container (VC-12/VC-3/VC-4) mapping and Ethernet frame encapsulation.
