The Alcatel-Lucent 3AL97800BA AA03 2XGBETH is a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet service interface board engineered for high-speed Ethernet service aggregation and transport in optical transport network platforms for SDH/SONET and packet-optical architectures. This module provides two independent 1000BASE-X Gigabit Ethernet client interfaces for aggregating enterprise connectivity, data center interconnect, and high-bandwidth data traffic onto synchronous optical network infrastructure in metro access and aggregation applications. The 2XGBETH (2-port Gigabit Ethernet) card features SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) optical transceiver cages supporting both single-mode and multi-mode fiber connectivity with automatic negotiation and link adaptation.
