The board implements Ethernet frame mapping into virtual containers (VC-4-64c/VC-4-16c) and optical channel data units (ODU2/ODU2e) using generic framing procedure (GFP), virtual concatenation (VCAT), and link capacity adjustment scheme (LCAS) for efficient bandwidth utilization and flexible service provisioning.
