The ZTE IPIA0 is a high-performance IP Interface Board designed for carrier-grade telecommunication platforms, including the ZXUR 9000 Radio Network Controller (RNC) and ZXUN xGW packet core systems. Built on the Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA), this module serves as a dedicated physical layer interface for IP-based transmission, facilitating high-speed data exchange between the radio access network and the core network. It is engineered to handle intensive IP traffic, providing the necessary bandwidth for modern 3G, 4G, and converged network environments.The IPIA0 board performs critical functions such as IP packet framing, physical line termination, and Ethernet MAC layer processing. It typically features multiple Gigabit Ethernet or Fast Ethernet ports (SFP or RJ-45 based) to support diverse optical and electrical transport media.
